When you offer your knowledge, we give back! First, you will be able to learn the skills we offer through courses, activities and volunteering. Permaculture courses are planned for this spring. Then, as we grow, we will support your enterprises provided they are good for everyone and good for the natural world. It will be a central gathering space where ideas can be shared, families can meet and trades and barter can be arranged (I’ll show you how to graft your trees, if you can help me dig a trench for my asparagus). We envision all the vitality and benefits of a marketplace. Spinoffs can engage people at every level and bring welcome revenue to our community.

For this, we need you, in whatever way appeals to you! Whether that is showing up with stories of how your grandfather hitched horses to his plough or how your mother stored her carrots or canned her beans, right up to engineering expertise for energy that keeps renewing itself. Everyone is welcome. Don’t hesitate if you come from “away” – from other parts of North America, or the world. Please don’t hesitate if you are a “senior”! Your life skills, memories and time are precious resources! Everyone has experience that can help us build success.
