Rachel. Photo by Bea SchulerWe have various spaces available for rent, whether for occasional use or long term.

Occasional-use spaces include:

Classrooms

contoursclassroom

A full sized classroom which has been used for classes, open mics, presentations and meetings.

A smaller room (half-classroom) adjacent to the room above, with an assortment of furniture.

Children’s space (half-classroom) Next to this smaller room and adjacent to the gym is another half-classroom that we’ve designated as a children’s play area. Toys include a wooden train set with lots of track.

Ask about other rooms that might suit your particular needs.

Gymnasium

This is a large space with a stage at one end. The washrooms are at the other end.

Acoustics have been much improved by the panels placed over the washrooms and other carpeted baffles.

Kitchen

tea-meredith 101_3913s lunchThe kitchen has been used for pot-lucks, food presentations and classes, receptions after presentations, and meetings.

Please note that it is not an approved or certified kitchen (although making it so is a central element in our plan for the school) so it can not yet be legally used to prepare food for sale.

We have a large, unmatched assortment of dishes and cutlery. Users of the kitchen are responsible for cleaning up, of course.

Long-Term Rentals

Please contact us to discuss renting a room by the month.

The amount of space we can rent for commercial purposes is severely limited by local by-laws. Contact us to see what is available.

Accessibility

The building is quite accessible to those of limited mobility, with no stairs, and there are wooden ramps to help you up the low rise at the main entrance. There are no large, wheelchair-accessible cubicles in the washrooms at this time.
