Thank you to everyone who came out to our Leap Day Launch!

Close to 150 people were there for supper, and many more came in the afternoon to view our displays and talk about the project.

The organizers were a little overwhelmed by the numbers in the afternoon, but we take it as a good sign of interest and support.

The evening music was extremely fine, and gave some of us a chance to reflect and marvel on the day.

There were so many interesting conversations, connections and ideas. It was fantastic to meet so many people from the local community as well as those who are drawn to the project from farther away.

Special thanks to the kitchen helpers, the bringers of food, and the cleaner-uppers.

There will be lots more opportunities to discuss ideas as the project moves forward, so stay in touch and let’s keep talking!
