Public Hearing for Transfer of Property

MODL (the Municipality of the District of Lunenburg), which owns the Blockhouse School property, is ready to move on transferring ownership to us (SSSVC) if we get community support and Council’s approval.

Public Hearing

Tuesday, June 18, 7:00 pm at Blockhouse Fire Hall (not the school) – 510 Hwy 325 (on the Mahone Bay side of the 4-way stop).

This is a very important hearing. Please come if you possibly can. Consider making a presentation, especially if you live within MODL.

From MODL’s website:

The Public Hearing is an opportunity for residents of the Municipality to make formal written or oral submissions to Council regarding the proposed property sale. Written submissions will be received by the Municipal Office until 4:30 PM, Monday, June 17, 2013.  Written submissions shall be addressed to Ms. April Whynot-Lohnes, Municipal Clerk, at 210 Aberdeen Road, Bridgewater NS, B4V 4G8 or e-mail: email hidden; JavaScript is required. Oral submissions will be received during the public hearing at the time and place stated above.
