Environmental Stewardship Award from Waldorf School!
Our neighbour, the South Shore Waldorf School, has chosen The Blockhouse School Project to receive an award of recognition for environmental stewardship!
There will be an an awards ceremony at the Waldorf school on April 7, 2014 at 9 am.
“This is a special opportunity to say thank you to all the amazing people on the South Shore who prioritize the environment and the health of our community,” says Waldorf School board member Anastasia Malay.
This ceremony is being held in conjunction with the school’s voting rally for the Majesta Trees of Knowledge Competition.
The South Shore Waldorf School one of 10 finalists in the running to win a $20,000 outdoor classroom as part of the Majesta Trees of Knowledge Competition! Votes will be needed to decide which of the 10 schools comes out on top.
We’ll post links on our website and Facebook page when the voting starts. Canadians will be able to vote daily between April 7 to May 5, 2014.
