Find your Inner Creativity
Sunday, June 15th, 1pm to 4pm at the Blockhouse School
Express yourself! Spend an exciting afternoon with visual artist and educator Valérie Leduc. Learn innovative ways to be more creative, find inspiration, and unblock your inner artist. Valérie is well-known in the area for her fine art photography, inspiring classes and creative energy. The class fee is $25 per person, materials included.

12 Hour Art Programs run for 8 weeks, 1.5 hours per week
Portrait Photography
Begins on Tuesday, July 8th. Fee: $75 per person
8 weeks, 1.5 hours per week
Learn how to take beautiful, creative portrait photography of your friends and family, at home or at your next special occasion! Instructor Valérie Leduc covers basic techniques such as composition, lighting, angles, plus special tips and tricks to help you gain the confidence you need to take portrait photos. Valérie has a degree in Photography from Marsan College, Montreal.
Art History projects for Youth
Begins on Wednesday, July 9th. Fee: $75 per person
8 weeks, 1.5 hours per week
In this class, participants are encouraged to look at art making in a new way, as we explore different techniques and mediums discovered via the amazing “History of Art”. Building a project in 8 weeks, instructor Valérie Leduc shows us how to draw inspiration from the past to make something new today. This is art as you have never seen it before!
Artistic Photography
Begins Thursday, July 9th. Fee: $75 per person
8 weeks, 1.5 hours per week
Instructor Valérie Leduc shows participants how to approach photography as a fine-art medium within contemporary art practice. This course emphasizes the development of your artistic vision, encouraging you to explore a broad range of issues and styles.
